Hey,
I'm Griffin.
I got my start in creative work in 2022 when I joined Eastern Michigan Athletics, dipping my toes into the world of sports photography and graphic design. That moment, I fell in love.
Throughout my career in college athletics and higher education, I've photographed and designed for a multitude of teams across a multitude of sports and levels of competition. In that role, my job was to tell the story of what was happening each and every event. No matter win or lose, there's compelling stories all over sports.
When I left sports, those stories didn't go away. I found them away from the heat of competition. In places like corporate events, community celebrations, graduation, engagements and so much more. Everyday, someone has an event that's special to them, whether that's personally or professionally. And I'll be there to capture just how special that moment is.
A sports professional's
perspective.
Sports are one of my biggest loves in life. I love the emotion, the air of competition, the storylines that are dreamed up and shown to the world each and every competition.
No matter the event, be it cross country, baseball, softball or basketball, I've done it. Both as a photographer and/or designer, and as a statistician, I know what to expect. With intimate knowledge of each sport, I'll be able to capture those moments.
But that doesn't just work on sports. It extends to other arenas as well. The quick-timing and reaction of shooting sports gives me an eye for detail in the moment, able to find the exact right moment to hit the shutter.
The Process

01. Connect
To me, the most important step. Getting to know you, your vision, and your story. Whether that's a phone call, emails or a face-to-face conversation, you'll have input on each and every thing we do.
Share your story

02. Conceptualize
That vision creating doesn't stop at that one conversation, though. Share me what you have in mind! Whether that's a Pinterest board or loose ideas you vaguely know, your shoot or design is going to be in your vision, not mine.
Develop Your Vision

03. Create
The most fun part: the shoot itself. No matter if it's sports, a corporate event, or a portrait session to commemorate a big life event, we'll make sure all the joy and emotions are evident in the final product.
